North Bay Island is also one of the most popular destinations in the Andamans, located near Port Blair, North Bay is a secluded island which spans over a relatively medium area and is generally visited by tourists on a day trip to both Ross Island and North Bay.However, you could also select just North Bay island trip as well, for that you have to charter a private boat from Andaman water sports complex. North Bay Beach is a hub for water sports and features a plethora of vendors with great pricing structure- if you are looking for some adventure and aren’t afraid to get wet. It includes various water sports activites such as glass boat rides, sea walking, snorkeling and scuba diving that help you experience the underwater marine life.

One of the most interesting things about North bay is that the iconic light house of North bay appears on every 20 rupees Indian currency note.A visit to North Bay Island can consume about half of your day. It is advisable to carry something to munch on, though snacks and beverages (tea and coffee) are available on the beach.

Located about 4kms via sea from Port Blair, North Bay is a short boat ride (40 minutes approx) from Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex and can accommodate up to 200 people and are equipped with life jackets and life rings for your safety. Sometimes, the boat may leave from the Junglighat Jetty. Not to worry, you will be notified about this by your vendor when you book the ticket.
